The subtitle to Edith and Woodrow: The Wilson White House was The First Documented Account of the Woman Who Was President, which I suppose is a less provocative (albeit also completely inaccurate) epithet than, say, The Woman Behind the Coup of 1919. …What? I still read this stuff, and I’ve heard from reliable sources that the book is a good look at the utter breakdown of the system for a year and a half. I also hear that it’s maybe a little dry in places, but I’ll know more when I actually read it.
