…Which is to say, it’s the old venue for Fright Reads. That’s slightly disappointing, but at least I know how to get there in good time. Besides, it’s shaping up to be a busy year. I will have plenty of opportunities to sell my books, in old venues and new.

The previous venue apparently had a panic attack over there being a spooky / horror / fantasy book fair at their site. The good news is that Fright Reads have a couple of options and a bunch of months to find sites in the area, so I can still have a book selling situation that’s within easy commuting range of me for once. Still, fair warning to folks running their own events: this is, like, the third time a Maryland hotel’s gotten squirrelly over a horror convention this season. You may want to check with your own venue, just to make sure nothing’s wrong.

Fright Reads is being held in Columbia MD this year (two days, September 28-29), which is fantastically convenient for me. Much better parking, too. I’m looking forward to it. Get tickets here.

The next FrightReads will be September 28-29, 2024. And it will be in Columbia, Maryland! That is ridiculously convenient for me, to the point where I could go home and come back and only lose forty minutes. The parking will be sensible, too, which is going to be nice.

Fright Reads in a week! I’m not sure, but this is… a pretty good spot, I think.
Pretty close to the door, but not right on it (note where I was last year). Should be good traffic. Looking forward to the venue next week!
