‘Hey Hey What Can I Do’
I understand that the band kind of hated this song?
Hey Hey What Can I Do, Led Zeppelin
So of course we all had to track it down.
“Over the Hills And Far Away.”
Their best? Many would argue.
“Whole Lotta Love.”
Sort of cheating with this one, but what the hell. Led Zep. Crank it up and break out the bourbon.
Not that I can actually do that anymore, unless I plan it all out three weeks in advance.
‘Black Dog.’
Have I done this one before? Do I care? Nah.
“Since I’ve been loving you.”
You know something? I don’t care if I’ve done “Whole Lotta Love” before. It’s the right song for right now…
Or not.

“The saddest of all keys.”
I don’t know why, but this comment reminded me of this bit from This Is Spinal Tap:

“Black Mountain Side.”
Yes, I did a Led Zep this week already. Now I’m doing another.

From when I was young. And how odd it is to not be bothered that I am not a teenager.
“Stairway to Heaven.”
So, they gave Robert Plant a CBE. Makes tonight’s choice easy.
“Over the Hills and Far Away.”
Over The Hills And Far Away, Led Zeppelin
Is this the greatest Led Zep song ever recorded? I don’t know; but I wouldn’t mock anybody who said that it was, particularly if they were buying the beer.
