Pre-orders for TALES FROM THE FERMI RESOLUTION close Friday! Book’s in print!

I went through last night and stomped typos left and right, took a deep breath, and pulled the trigger. I’ve looked at TALES FROM THE FERMI RESOLUTION easily for long enough that the words are just random jumbles of letters on the page who’s gonna buy this, man, but every author does that with every book they write. The important thing is, now you can BUY it.

Also: the pre-order store’s closing Friday. Now is the time to get those signed copies.

New Penny Arcade race tonight featuring a Flying Koala sponsor car!

11 PM Eastern time. Different car, different color scheme, same inherent coolness:

I’ve been practicing talking like a sponsor. Well, we here at Flying Koala Publishers are just thrilled to be able to help support races like these, and give something back to the racin’ community. We’re looking forward to an excitin’ time tonight; and we wish all the drivers good luck, and good racin’. Stuff like that is part of the fun.

TALES FROM THE FERMI RESOLUTION is now live on Kindle Unlimited!

Print version to follow. TALES FROM THE FERMI RESOLUTION is a collection of short stories set in the same universe as FROZEN DREAMS, which means they’re all post-apocalyptic fantasy stories: there’s a Tom Vargas novelette in there (which is completely separate from TINSEL RAIN. the sequel to FROZEN DREAMS) and a self-contained story from MORGAN BAROD (which is the next book scheduled for publication). Plus a bunch of others which I hope you will like. Check it out!

BEHOLD! The Flying Koala digital race car.

For anybody visiting from tonight… TALES FROM THE FERMI RESOLUTION will be coming out by the end of the month (click here to preorder a signed copy). But in the meantime, check out my first novel, which is set in the same universe and called FROZEN DREAMS: it will be the best post-apocalyptic high urban fantasy pulp detective novel you will read today. Magic! Elf! Orc! Dwarf! Wisecracks! It has it all.

Oh, and subscribe to my mailing list!

:pause:

Right. Anyway: as the above might indicate, I’m sponsoring a car in the Penny Arcade racing circuit! This Thursday, and the first three Thursdays in February. The race tonight starts at 11 PM Eastern Time, and will be on their Twitch channel here. Pictures of the race car after the fold. I think it looks pretty dang spiffy.

Ordered the proof of TALES FROM THE FERMI RESOLUTION today. (Cover Artwork and links!)

First I get the proof copy, then I check it, then I pull the trigger on it, then hopefully it gets published to Amazon. Then I’ll swear and fix whatever typos made it past all of that, because that’s what happens.

Addresses locked on the TALES FROM THE FERMI RESOLUTION Kickstarter, emails sent.

That should get the wallpapers and the mobi/pdf/epub files out, at least. I’m working on processing the print and Kindle versions now; once I proof them, I can pull the trigger on getting the book published, and then I can order ’em, sign ’em, and send ’em out. I’m still on track, I think, for having the book available for sale by February 1st.

There’s still time to pre-order, though!

I will be locking existing Backerkit orders for TALES FROM THE FERMI RESOLUTION on Friday.

I need to lock in the information so that I can populate the Acknowledgement page for the Kickstarter/Backerkit backers. So, if you want in on that, or you already have and just want to grab a signed copy of REVISIONARY, now is the time to jump over to the preorder store and adjust your pledge. Once I have it locked, I can prep the book fully, get the cover info over to the cover person, and, you know, publish the book and everything.

PS: The pre-order store will remain open after Friday. But Friday is when I lock down the folks who’ll be listed in the books as early backers.

The second to last go-through on TALES FROM THE FERMI RESOLUTION.

After I finish checking the stories one more time, it’ll be time to collate them and get them into a KDF-compatible format. From there we go on to the print proof, and I’ll check it all again. And after that I’ll pull the trigger, order the books that need to be signed, and away we go. We’re still on track for this being done by the end of the month, or close to it.

In the meantime, the pre-order store for TALES FROM THE FERMI RESOLUTION remains open.
