I am not backing The Traveller RPG: The Great Rift & Deep Space Exploration Kickstarter, mostly because I only really know Traveller through GURPS and sixty-plus bucks for a box set for a game I don’t play is a bit much. However, I suspect that this may be tempting for some of my readers. And yes, there is a new edition of Traveller, from the same company (Mongoose Publishing). You can get the core rules at a discounted add-on.
Fair warning: Mongoose goes over deadline (they even admit it) with their Kickstarters. But they produce good stuff. Their new edition of Paranoia was good, although I am an unrepentant bad-pun Zap! player.
