Quote of the Day, Zack Snyder Still Has A Few More Birds Left To Flip At Warner edition.

You would think this would eventually stop being funny:

“There is Zack Snyder’s Justice League ‘Justice is Gray’ edition, which is the black and white version, which I’m a huge advocate of and huge admirer of. For me, it’s my favorite version of the movie. I understand that people want to see it in color, and that’s great, and I really want them to enjoy it in color. But for me, the ultimate version is the black and white IMAX version of the movie, which is sort of the penultimate ridiculous movie that shouldn’t exist at its highest most fetishistic level, and I really, really love that. And of course, the black and white version of Justice League will be released on HBO Max, at some point after release, I believe, and you’ll be able to see that somehow on, I don’t know how you’re gonna get to it but that’s the plan.

Snyder Cut to include Deathstroke.

This just doesn’t stop being funny.

Following Jared Leto’s surprising return as Joker in Zack Snyder’s Justice LeagueCollider brings word that another casting addition has been made for the long-awaited Snyder Cut with Joe Manganiello set to reprise his role as Slade Wilson a.k.a. Deathstroke. His return for the reshoots might potentially indicate that Deathstroke will now have a much longer screen time, compared to his brief appearance during the post-credits scene in 2017’s Justice League. Manganiello and Leto will reportedly be joining Ben Affleck, Ray Fisher, and Amber Heard for the four-episode HBO Max miniseries’ reshoots that are currently underway.

Zac Snyder Alters The Deal, brings back Jared Leto for JUSTICE LEAGUE.

Snyder will likely alter it further: “Jared Leto has joined Zack Snyder’s Justice League Director’s Cut, and he will reprise his role as Joker. Leto is a part of the additional shooting that is being done for the film.” The additional shooting which was never supposed to happen in the first place. Back when this was just going to be a recut of the movie. With only some special effects added. And so on, and so forth, while all the while Snyder keeps turning the screws — and now here we are, and where we are is hilarious.

The Snyder Cut will cost 70 million to reshoot.

All is proceeding as I have foreseen.

The so-called “Snyder Cut” of “Justice League” will be a 4-hour-long, episodic presentation on HBO MAX, created with a budget of around $70 million. And while initial reporting held that no additional filming would occur and new material would largely consist of special effects work, that clearly has changed.

…Yes. Yes, clearly it has. Geektyrant feels, I think, that Zac Snyder has captured HBO Max’s heart so tightly that they’re going to give him all this money. As for me? …Well. I suspect another part of HBO Max’s anatomy is involved.

I TOLD you Snyder would get to shoot more scenes for JUSTICE LEAGUE.

I absolutely freaking told all of you. They told Zac Snyder ‘No’ when they signed him to do The Snyder Cut of JUSTICE LEAGUE, he smiled and nodded in apparent agreement, and then I said “Won’t work.” And here we now are:

THR is now reporting that additional scenes will, in fact, be shot with Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, and Ray Fisher as Cyborg. These reshoots will take place next month.

See? Listen to Uncle Moe, for he is wise and cynical in these things. …And probably stuck with getting HBO Max now. Yay.

The suits manage to keep the Snyder Cut from getting new shooting.

Makes sense that Zack Snyder would ask, though. The worst that’d happen is they’d say “No,” right?

“There’s not going to be any reshoots of any kind with any actors,” Gonzalez said. “It’s just additional dialogue. Here’s something that hasn’t been reported yet: (Snyder) did want to shoot and he wanted to do additional photography but HBO Max said no, that’s not happening. We’ll give you money for post-production, for special effects, for scoring, and even ADR but no reshoots of any kind on this movie.”
