This Hill story’s getting hit by Drudge…

Remember this event, the next time a Democrat holds out his hand to you.

[Update: Video added, and the Hill’s Blog Briefing Room is back up, so I’m cutting back the article.]

…and, given the general meltdown of the Internet, it’s currently down. Via comments here:

Bush Mocked As He Arrives on Inauguration Dais
@ 11:52 am by Hill Staff

The crowd packed on the west side of the Capitol grounds serenaded President Bush in mocking fashion when he took to the inaugural stage alongside Vice President Dick Cheney.

“Nah nah nah nah, hey hey, good-bye,” a section of the crowd chanted.

I’m not particularly surprised, honestly. As ye sow, so shall ye reap – and this is what the Democrats sowed.

  1. This shows that some people can be poor winners. No matter how what one thinks of the former President, he deservers some respect on his last day.

  2. Regarding the Murtha hit job. I live in the 12th. It is definitely coming from Rahm and company. Steve Ellis shows on air in all the TV clips attacking Murtha. At the GOP convention, Steve Ellis and WAPO’s Paul Kane attacked Sarah Palin for trying to get earmarks for Wasilla when she was mayor. Murtha believes in a strong US defense. He has spent his whole life working on this. The PMA story was very messy so now the story has been switched to our airport which is very important to our economy here.
