Word of the day: Specterenfreude.

Do I even need to give the definition?

Specterenfreude

The pleasure derived from watching Arlen Specter do unto Democrats that which Specter did unto Republicans.

What brought this on? Specter openly hoping for Coleman being seated as Senator. I am beginning to suspect that Arlen Specter wants to be defeated in the primary, at least subconsciously. Either that, or he got bored with being a schmuck to Republican partisans and decided to thoroughly torque off the Democratic ones.

Moe Lane

PS: No, we don’t want him back. The twisted little putz keeps doing things like try to raise campaign money via phony medical ads (Via Riehl World View). He can stay right where he is.

  1. The really funny part is that TPM is trying to do a pushback on this: they’re suggesting that it may have been a ‘joke.’

    Good luck with that.
