OK, that’s pretentious. What I meant was the picture (via here) after the fold is clearly a metaphor for something, but blessed if I can figure out what:

I do have to say that I generally don’t care much one way or the other for Celebrity Shenanigans, as long as they stay out of politics; and even then it’s mostly for aesthetic reasons (it reminds me far too much of those poor people in Boogie Nights*).  Heck, I don’t even mind PETA activism so much, as getting involved with that set of lunatics has become a useful touchstone for determining an actor/actress’ base IQ.  Just don’t tell me about why you voted, Hollywood: I don’t need to be reminded that the drawback of letting me have the franchise is that I have to let you have it, too.

All that being said: Paris Hilton’s energy policy really did make sense.  We should do that.
