HPLHS’ “The Whisperer in Darkness” is in the can.

As of March 1st; they just need to find a distributor and get it up on the screen – and, more to the point, into a format where I might acquire a copy in exchange for money.

(pause)

You know, I should contact these people and find out if they’re going to be sending out review copies.  I mean, I’m mostly known for political blogging, but what the heck, right?  It’s not like I haven’t been an enthusiastic supporter of their work in public, and everything…

  1. Believe it or not, Moe, I actually know one of the producers. He’s a real stand-up guy, a Lovecraft buff. And I’ve seen about thirty minutes of the film — and it ain’t half-bad.

    1. Oh, I’m ready to believe that it’s good: I thought that their silent Call of Cthulhu was top-shelf. I just wish that I had ten times the traffic that I do, so I’d be worth buttering up with a review copy. 🙂

      No, that’s not a hint. 🙂

    1. The HPLHS does a lot of consistently great work, jetty. Their Shoggoth on the Roof and Very Scary Solstice are prized CDs of mine.
