Business Insider started snide* with this article, but all in all, “Here Are The 8 People Obama Needs To Fire If He Wants To Win In 2012” is still a highly entertaining read. Apparently, all Obama has to do is get rid of his Chief of Staff, campaign manager, senior WH adviser, Attorney General, Secretary of Education, and every female Cabinet Secretary not named Hillary Clinton. Which is… true, but also kind of frightening. But not as frightening as this statement:

The Vice President may be a loose cannon, but at this point, he’s the only adult in the room.
It is a heck of a thing when such a statement can be written about Joe Biden. Doubly so when it’s actually accurate. Comparatively speaking, of course.

*Every four years, like clockwork, we get informed just how god-awful the current Republican field is. Not like that dreamy GOP field of four or eight years ago… yes, yes, this is the GOP’s version of the Democrats’ odd tendency to suddenly like and respect Republicans who are out of office – or, preferably, dead.
Snide for certain, but I see no reason to deny this field IS weak. Disturbingly weak.
