You know, I know that I’m supposed to be worried by this ME3 article…

listing the potential, possible, not anywhere near confirmed as even being plausible problems with Mass Effect 3: but I am afraid that I am too pleased with the news that I will have Counselor Anderson as a playable NPC for a portion of the game.

This guy:

That was easily one of the most satisfying cutscenes in Mass Effect.

Still, please, God, don’t let it suck.

  1. Who’s the imposter playing Commander Shepherd in the clip? Everyone knows Shepherd is a girl.

  2. So I went through all of Dragonage on your recommendation. ME1, ME2, all the Fallouts, Bioshock 1 & 2, all the Oblivions including Skyrim. Not to mention all of the RPGs since DOS.

What I’m really waiting for is for somebody to do Firefly. Am I dreaming?

  3. Matt: “Who’s the imposter playing Commander Shepherd in the clip? Everyone knows Shepherd is a girl.”

Moe: “Matt: I figured that it was a custom mod.”

Can I get a beverage warning and a notification of your next show? Good heavens. I might have woken my neighbors with laughter!

Anyhoo, I’ll wait to see what it’s like when it comes out. The people at Kotaku trip my “retard warning” alsrm so I tend to ignore anything resembling personal opinion from them.

That being said: I thought Dragon Age was terrible, so if Bioware makes it more like DA2, I’ll never know. With any luck it won’t be quite so focused on cover-based shooting and more on story. In other words; I liked ME far better than ME2. I still liked ME2, but I lurved ME.

    We’ll see what happens!
