So, there’s been the weirdest sense of doom over me all day…

…and I can’t figure out what it could possi…

Wait.

No.

Oh, God, please, no.

:looking:

Yeah, there’s a debate tomorrow CNN, 8 PM EST. Have we not suffered enough by now?

PS: Yes, the CNN debates have been the best ones – hey, they credentialed me, so of course they’re the best ones. Still. God help us, another debate.

  1. The Doom Cometh! Santorum’s peaking but then everybody else seems to already have. This is going to be a survivors race and by the signs and portents, O’bama’s going to lose. The Republican Candidate won’t win, O’bama will lose. In the final analysis it makes a Big difference. A weak President doesn’t have a lot of power.

  2. @Catseye “A weak President doesnโ€™t have a lot of power.” And that’s a bad thing, how? ๐Ÿ˜‰

LOL I know, as appealing as the concept of a weak (or at least WEAKER) chief executive is, there is a lot of damage from the past four years that need to be undone, and some urgent long-term fiscal problems (i.e. Social Security, Medicare) that will require a strong conservative president to take the lead on.

Still, the idea of a POTUS who looks after national security, keeps an eye on Congress to ensure they do their freaking jobs on time and in so doing don’t rob the country blind, and doesn’t do a whole lot else gives me the warm and fuzzies. ๐Ÿ™‚
