OK, this guy doing “Endangered” had me at “Tremors.”

I am not ashamed to admit it: I enjoyed the Hell out of Tremors. So this Kickstarter project about trying to make a SF/horror movie called Endangered hit all the right notes for me:

Lovecraft themes, no buckets of blood, independently made by enthusiastic people on a shoestring – what’s not to love?

  1. Definitely top five, but Eight-Legged Freaks, Death Race 2000, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, and Independence Day all give it a run for its money.

    And Them!

  2. No contest in that list Moe. Tremors tops them all by setting up every possible Hollywood trope and stereotype and then relentlessly refusing to pull the trigger on any of them. Genius.

    1. I’m not exactly *arguing* with you on this one, Wen: but the others all had their points. I figure that in a fight they’d all look at each other, go back-to-back, and proceed to kick the asses of every other movie in the bar.

  3. DUDE.

    DUUUUDE.

Okay, “Tremors” is, without a doubt, one of my all-time favorite movies. Anything that even remotely comes close to TRYING to capture that same spirit has my vote!
