#RSRH LA City Council reminds us: Democratic politicians hate industry.

I was going to go off and try to explain the various forms of stupidity that are looming over this inane and insane plan by the LA City Council to ban non-reusable bags (which is freaking out people all over the place, including the people who make reusable bags*), but it makes my head hurt, and that’s not the important thing right now.  The important thing is to spread the word:

FLY, YOU FOOLS.

GET THE HELL OUT OF CALIFORNIA WHILE YOU STILL CAN.

AND REMEMBER WHY YOU LEFT.

Moe Lane

PS: If you cannot get the Hell out of California right at this very moment, STOP VOTING FOR DEMOCRATS.

*What do you think they make the reusable bags out of, anyway?  Also, check out that link for the amazing sight of a Councilman explaining that it’s not ‘intuitive’ that banning plastic bags won’t decrease the percentage of plastics in the trash, despite the fact that San Francisco is finding that exactly that is happening… oh, never mind.  RUN LIKE ALL THE FORCES OF SATAN WERE CHASING YOU.

  1. “Remember why you left”. People leave dying blue states because the can’t find work, move to Texas, and immediately start complaining about the lack of blue state stupidity. “That’s not how we did it back home”, they whine. I always ask them why they left in that case, and invite them to return to their native land and leave us in our ignorance.

  2. Remember why I left? So I can vote Macaca for Senate!

No, wait, that can’t be right.

Oh right yes. It’s because jobs are good, mmkay?

  3. I reuse plastic bags all the time. I use them to pick up dog poop, as trash bags in my car, as lunch bags for work. And, when I get too many around the house I put them in the recycle bin at the store.

  4. Phil Smith, that’s exactly right. I left CA 5 years ago for Nevada, only to find that what I had thought was a red state had been turned blueish-purple by people fleeing LA for Las Vegas.
