Guess it’s time for a reboot! Mind you, I’m one of the few people I know who actually liked Superman Returns – largely because I saw it as a desperate attempt to tell the world No, really, there were no movies after Superman II*. So I may not be seeing the need quite as much as others.
Still. Sonic booms are cool.
Superman Returns rather left me cold, but then I’ve also never been a tremendous Supes fan…nevertheless, I’ll see Man of Steel to see what the new take is…
…and The Dark Knight Rises is pretty darn awesome…

PS: For the record: the Richard Pryor one was the last Superman movie. THERE WAS NO SUCH THING AS SUPERMAN IV. Rumors that such a thing existed turned out to be simply a Cold War CIA disinformation project.
i liked most of SR, but it needed a big fight against someone who actually stood a chance of beating the living $#!t out of superman.
There’s also another Man of Steel trailer with Russel Crowe (Jor-El) doing the voiceover. It’s slightly different and sets the tone you would expect Jor-El to set with Kal-El.
