Yesterday, Florida Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, House Foreign Affairs chair, more or less unloaded on the administration for their stonewalling on Operation Fast & Furious.  Below are some handy links, audio, text, and two embeddable videos of said unloading: feel free to pass them around.  Particularly the ones that are in Spanish.

“Fast & Furious was a complete failure that caused deaths overseas, took the life of federal law enforcement agent Brian Terry, damaged our relationship with Mexico and sullied the reputation of the Justice Department.  The Obama Administration continues to hide behind legal maneuvers and avoid responsibility for its actions in this failed and irresponsible operation. Furthermore, it illustrates Obama’s failed policies in Latin America that undermine U.S. national security and embolden our enemies. Instead of trying to find ways to blame others, the Administration, Attorney General Holder, and senior officials within the ATF should claim responsibility, fix these problems that led to this unfortunate scenario, and ensure this never happens again. The lives of our law enforcement officials should never be put in danger by senior officials’ lack of responsibility and oversight.”—Rep. Ros-Lehtinen (FL-18)
