Other shoe drops on Jesse Jackson, Jr…

…and by ‘shoe’ I mean ‘plea deal:’

Just two days after being re-elected to Congress by his faithful 2nd CD constituents, sources close to the allegedly ill, struggling Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr now reveal to the Chicago Sun Times’ Michael Sneed that the congressman is pleading a deal with the feds.

I suppose that it’d be impolite for me to call the IL-02 voting public ‘idiots,’ so I won’t.  I do wonder what Democratic politician will be assigned to hold that land in fief now, though. Oh, well, I’m sure that it’ll be announced soon.

I mean, f’ing elections, how do they work?

  1. You may not call them idiots, Moe, but .. I will.

Lemmings is more accurate, though. Sheep is too kind, some sheep demonstrate a better concept of self-preservation, and some (rams, mostly) manage to actually fight back.

This is typical of single-party rule in Chicagoland, in rotting American urban cores, and third-world shitholes.

    1. Which stage is the F-them! stage? I am at the “I hope the run things into the ground quickly so we can start rebuilding” stage. I want my kids to be part of the rebirth of American Exceptionalism not still suffering through the decline.

      1. Depends, Spegen. Do you have a “Go Galt” plan for you and yours? If so, then I think it’s acceptance. If not, then it’s denial.

        I’ve got my plan… I had hoped I wouldn’t need it.

  2. why would he lose his seat? The good people of detroit elected a multi-convicted felon. If the people want to governed by criminals, let them.

  3. He’s following the Ted Kennedy career track, so expect him to run for Senate in a few years.
