I would suggest that whoever it is in the federal government is responsible for making sure that DC gets its money be very careful not to do anything stupid. Because when this issue goes away the DC government is still going to be pissed, and they’re going to know that their good and dear friend Mister Darrell Issa* loves nothing better than to plop people down on the witness stand and then grill them for half a day. And this administration has no loyalty to its minions. None.
