@KindforCongress, @Barrow4GA, Collin Peterson, @ericswalwell, & @BishopforCongress’s dirty Koch money.

Note: I do not actually consider Koch Industry [and employees: see Update below] campaign contributions to be in point of fact ‘dirty.’  And neither do the following Democrats!

  • Barrow, John (D-GA)
  • Bishop, Sanford (D-GA)
  • Matheson, Jim (D-UT)
  • Kind, Ron (D-WI)
  • Peterson, Collin (D-MN)
  • Swalwell, Eric (D-CA)

Screenshot here, just in case.
So, I’m curious: since Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has called the Koch Brothers “un-American” – one too many hits with the snake* there, I’m thinking – when will the five Congressmen listed above who are still running actually give that money back?  I mean, would you take dirty, un-American money for your campaign? And if you don’t believe that Koch Industries [and employees: see Update below] money is dirty, why wouldn’t you push back on that.  Unless Democratic Congressmen are afraid to tell truth to constituents.

Which, reading over these guys’ legislative biographies, wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest.

UPDATE: Scott [Chris, sorry] Moody later clarified that the first list includes money from individuals working for Koch Industries who contributed to Democrats.  I am not exactly certain how unshakeable Koch-haters will feel about that distinction, and I admit to being remarkably indifferent to the question.
