Interesting parodies of album covers for sale (and flame-war bait!).

Now this is worth considering: cartoon-themed parodies of famous album covers.  There’s one or two that I wouldn’t mind having… although the era of the great album covers came to an end when we switched over from vinyl to CDs, of course.

There.  Something to fight over in the comments section.  Because I’m a giver.

  1. Sadly I only have 4 of those albums. Then again, it’s not like they did any Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd or Boston or Styx album covers.

  2. My thought at looking at them was “I must be old. I don’t even recognize half of the albums they’re parodying.”

  3. Gonna continue the trend .. about half the albums were unrecognizable and some of the comics they spoofed were also “wait, what?”

Speaking of which .. why the hell didn’t they do any Talking Heads albums with Archer? I mean, come on! It’s a freakin’ natural!

    1. A lot of them were video games and not cartoons, although the line between the two gets increasingly fuzzy every year.

Agreed – “Fear Of Music” would have been awesome with Archer imagery.

      1. Feeling slightly less antiquated, Wombat, thank you. I am not a game-geek, although I did recognize Halo. (played that one often enough to know warthogs can do backflips)
