They want to start at Year Zero. They have no affection for the past, and are sometimes unwilling to admit that it even existed.
I’m so happy I’ve managed to avoid watching them burn all those ancient manuscripts.
This was bad enough. Right now, I could be convinced that a neutron bomb properly applied would be a benefit to all humanity.
Kind of makes the case for not repatriating antiquities just in case you can’t protect what resides in your own country, at least a remnant will be in existance somewhere on the earth!
