Martin O’Malley is about to meet his destiny. At relativistic speeds.

I don’t really expect Martin O’Malley to win the Democratic nomination for President. But there’s an upside to this: “Hillary Clinton’s top potential challenger for the Democratic presidential nomination has taken his most direct policy shots at the former secretary of state since her campaign for the White House began, calling out Clinton by name for what he all but called a flip-flop on marriage equality and immigration reform.” Speaking as a Marylander who had to live under this dude’s tenure for eight years: there’s a part of me that is going to enjoy watching progressive Democrats dutifully destroy O’Malley because he has dared disrupt the Narrative. It will be painful. It will be slow.  And, in the end, Martin O’Malley will have to thank them for the privilege of being eviscerated.

  1. The Democrats’ bus is long, wide, and it hungers. It calls for sacrifices, careers to be ended in self-immolation – like a Romulan attack ship flaring brightly off of the Tannhauser Gate.

All those careers, washing away like tears in the rain…

  2. i think the bus wants Hillary. and i think it just might get her. she’s not driving, after all.

    1. The Clattering Train.

Who is in charge of the clattering train?
The axles creak and the couplings strain,
and the pace is hot and the points are near,
and sleep hath deadened the driver’s ear,
and the signals flash through the night in vain,
for death is in charge of the clattering train.

  3. I too lived in the People’s Republic of Maryland…for 10 years. 2 years under Ehrlich (R), who attempted to beat back the regulatory state, and utterly failed, and 8 years under O’Malley, who instituted a friggin’ tax on rain to pay for all the crap they’re running out of money to pay for.

O’Malley, never saw a tax he didn’t like. To make matters worse, his, and the Democratic party’s favoritism of illegal workers has devastated the construction industry in MD. After all, why would you hire citizens and legal residents and pay them a decent wage to perform professional work, when you can hire illegals, give them preference in govt services and education and pay them 1/3 to half what you have to pay Americans/Legal Res’s? Plus you don’t have to pay any taxes on those illegals, nor pay for insurance to cover them with since the govt picks up the tab for the emergency services they use in lieu of health insurance (thus bankrupting several public hospitals in the area–all of which are run by the various counties in the east/soEast part of the state—Looking @ you PG county).

That’s why we left. No local construction/cabinetry companies were hiring citizens/legal residents…because they couldn’t compete with all the illegals who can under bid them…eventually, MD will collapse like CA is in the process of doing…and NY, MA, IL are just entering that stage. Good riddance. My biggest worry is the idiots who voted for these politicians, when they invariably move to “Red States” will take their politics to those states and ruin them as well…

    Just my 2cents…
