Found here.  Short version: Larry Hogan vetoed it, and I kind of wish he hadn’t. Civil asset forfeiture is kind of massively uncool.

  1. So in Philadelphia, asset forfeiture hearings are scheduled by different judges, before defendants go to trial, and testimony in those hearings can be used in criminal courts.

    Nice little scam they have going.

    1. yeah, in general, I now think that government at all levels exists to fleece the public in every way possible at every opportunity.
