ZOMG this Predator Dark Ages fan film.

(H/T Instapundit) They say it was shot on a five thousand, five hundred pound budget, and I do not believe a [expletive deleted] word of it. It’s far too high-quality for that low a budget. Even if it’d be more in American dollars and you can get stuff done for cheaper outside of Hollywood.

I would go to a theater and watch a full version of this movie. I would watch the [expletive deleted] out of it. MAKE THIS MOVIE.

  1. The road – way too nice, kept to one side of the shot.

Other than that, well made. Bit clunky at the end.

  2. You can do a lot of stuff in software now. Put a camera on a drone for some of the helicopter shots, sign up some friendly SCA types to be background spear carriers.

But yeah, US$8400 (current conversion rates) is probably enough to pay actors salaries for a day, and maybe have a catered lunch.

Still, you can do a lot without union “help”.

  3. It just goes to show you that money and big special effects isn’t everything. A good script and director/actors with passion is all you really need.
