Hillary Clinton equivocates on free trade. …Of course she did.

Essentially, she’s trying to pretend that the TPA (fast track) issue is somehow separate from the TPP trade deal, despite the fact that anti-wealth Democrats absolutely hate the idea that a President could negotiate a trade agreement that isn’t subject to Big Labor’s veto – and are thus doing everything in their power to ensure that no President ever have fast-track authority, ever again. The problem is, of course, that Hillary Clinton needs every single Democratic vote in 2016, so she can’t pick a side: whichever one she doesn’t will chew bitter bones, as the Elves say. More importantly, they’ll resent Hillary Clinton.  That is a worse outcome for her than merely looking like an uninformed idiot on the subject will, which is why Brendan Buck wrote this:
