The first had a narrative that turned out to be unsupportable by the facts on hand and the second was based on a well-designed radical Green hit piece that was disguised as an expose. I’m getting sloppy. Or possibly I’m just tired? It’s been a stressful week, what with the kids adjusting to school and everything.

And yet you caught yourself, which is why you are one of the few people I consider Worth Reading on the internet. Odd that you’d get mixed up with Green agitprop though…
There are at least a few factions on the Right who have enmities in common with the Greens (e.g. subsidy-hungry agribusinesses), but their reasons for and methods of opposition are orthogonal and no real cooperation is possible. The enemy of my enemy is my enemy’s enemy; nothing more, nothing less.
