Finding a tiger cub wandering free in California is NOT the problem, here.

See if you can spot the problem.

A three-month-old tiger cub was found roaming neighborhoods in the Inland Empire on Thursday and has been taken to an animal shelter, CBS Los Angeles reports.

The two-foot-long tiger was turned into the Ramona Humane Society in San Jacinto by a woman who found it in her neighborhood in Hemet. It was not immediately clear where the tiger had come from.

…that’s right. It’s actually immediately clear where the tiger came from. It came from a mommy and a daddy tiger. Now, are Mommy and Daddy Tiger both safely secured in a specialized facility somewhere? California officials are not sure?  Well, then maybe California officials should go look.

  1. I’m guessing it was most likely smuggled into the country as a small cub, and then either got loose or was turned out by its owner once it got less “cute”‘

  2. But the number of tigers necessary to put a significant dent in the number of Californians makes such a progrom impractical, despite its appeal.

  3. I love Tigers. I think they should roam, free and wild, in the Hollywood Hills…

Then maybe the celebrities would shut up about Cecil the dead lion.
