    1. Two of the writers were Schulzes — one son and one grandson of the man himself. I thought they pretty much nailed the whole movie.

  2. The entire *A Charlie Brown Christmas* album is a solid purchase. If you’ve watched the Peanuts Christmas special, you know all the songs. I see there’s an “expanded” version with a couple extra songs, I can’t vouch for those.

    1. I’ve seen the movie in question. Hollywood DID leave your childhood the frack alone. It’s not a reimagining…it’s about as Peanuts a movie as you could expect.

  4. I haven’t seen the movie yet, but I intend to– from everything I’ve seen, they did the best they could to Get It Right. For example: you never see the bottom of Snoopy’s doghouse when he’s flying around fighting the Red Baron– because the whole thing is in Snoopy’s mind and the doghouse never actually leaves the ground.
