I want to like the Eagles, I really do, but there’s several holes in the Eagles Greatest Hits 8-track tape that I played until it just wouldn’t play anymore. There’s a downside to liking music too much when you’re young.
I kinda like Get Over It from their later work. Besides being a fine rocker in its own right, it also shows at least some nascent awareness emerging out of their liberal myopia.
