Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens comes out on 06/28/2016.

:sigh: Fine. Let me go get my wallet.

Everybody form an orderly queue.

PS: The heck of it is, I never get a chance to play these games. Fortunately, my kids are luckier. And just wait when they start porting over all this stuff to LEGO Dimensions. I know that it’s claimed that they’ll never do that, because of Disney Infinity* but remember: Disney wants your MONEY. In as many ways as possible.

*I need somebody to give me a really good goram reason not to go buy that RIGHT NOW.  I mean, shoot, the Xbox is downstairs now! Out of sight, out of mind no longer works!

  1. Okay, you’re tossing out requests on Twitter so…
    .
Wait. Leaving aside the fact that the gameplay in Infinity is meh. After all, your kids will be playing it and their tastes in games are less refined. But more importantly, Disney has been doing a yearly release schedule for Infinity updates over the past few years, and I suspect 4.0 will be along later this year. So if you buy 3.0 right now, expect to buy another set later this year as well. So, just wait until then and pick up the updated version. And keep in mind that various stores will often discount the figures fairly heavily at random times in the year, so you can pick up your Star Wars and Marvel and Phineas and Perry figures independently.
    .
And once 4.0 rolls around, keep in mind that it’ll often be heavily discounted at Christmas time, so you can delay your purchase until then, to save some bucks. And if you wait until Christmas, you might was well wait until 5.0 rolls in, which will probably have episode 9 figures…
