Tweet of the Day, Go Home, @JohnKasich edition.

You are not helping, John Kasich.

If you do not know whether or not your purpose is to be President, then you will not be President. This is how it works. Go home, John Kasich.

  1. I will stand on my prior prediction .. Kasich may not know why he’s there, but .. the reason is quite simple.

Kasich is there in case Rubio steps on his wedding tackle while wearing golf spikes before the SEC Primary.

  2. I don’t really like John Kasich, but everyone deserves a fair chance to make their case to the voters.

    The trouble: he’s had his.

Please leave the race, Governor. While there’s still time to stop Trump.

  3. So I did see one possibility that actually paints Kasich in a different light, although I don’t think that was the point. There’s an article linked on Drudge that does some guessing, and a count, and basically comes up with Trump getting just slightly more delegates than needed if things work out with some fairly plausible numbers, based on which states are winner-take-all, etc. And if those numbers came out accurately, Ohio alone going to someone else would prevent the necessary delegate count. Now, if polling continues to show Trump winning Ohio, then he needs to be gone, before the voting takes place there. I’m not saying it’s why he’s staying in, but it’s at least plausible.

  4. your purpose is to be a governor. preferably of another state. we don’t want you so much anymore. try Pennsylvania.

  5. IIRC, when Ted Kennedy was asked why he was running for president he couldn’t provide a coherent answer either. And this cycle Jeb seems to have gone through the same thing.

I cannot imagine subjecting myself to running for president. I can only imagine it similar to going through astronaut, Ranger, and submarine nuclear technician school at the same time. There is no way you can be successful unless you totally believe that you have what it takes and will give everything to it. Self-doubt washes you right out.

As you said – if you don’t know, then leave.
