Found here. Short version: Jeb Bush’s endorsement does actually help Ted Cruz*. But, possibly more importantly… it’s effectively a message to Kasich that he should stop trying to make ‘fetch’ happen.

*Yeah, if I had said that in March of 2015 all y’all would have looked at me funny. I would have looked at me funny, too. Since then… well, it’s been that kind of year.
Oh, I’m still looking at you funny, but that’s because you’re seriously considering giving all this up.
.
More seriously, yeah, this was Kasich’s masters telling him to let it go .. Kasich is pretty firmly resisting getting the memo, though.

I’m not CONSIDERING it. If A happens, B happens. If A does not happen, C happens. It’s all very straightforward.

So is Kasich just running to troll the GOP. He would have been a really good Democrat candidate. He should have ran as a Democrat. He might have done well.
He wouldn’t have made it as far as O’Malley did.

That’s what I said about Christie, originally – I wondered if he’d have to give up his pretense at pro-life in order to get any traction there.
Is ‘fetch’ a classical reference I’m not aware of?
It’s after our time. Some mean girls teenage movie. One of the girls tries to create slang and get others to buy in.
It doesn’t work.
Yeah, I should have included the YouTube link. It’s a perfect metaphor for this goram High School Confidential political campaign season.

Ok. You are right. Today’s Democrat party is extreme (and they call us extreme). It just seems like Kasich is a democrat at heart, and he seems to resent the GOP for not loving him.
