Started off horrified, enjoyed it more as it went on, then found out that Tim Curry will be playing the Narrator / Criminologist and that’s when I shut my fool mouth. It’s been a hellyear, OK? If any of this helped Tim recover even a little bit from his stroke then I’ll be fine with it. I will take what I can bloody well get.
Tim had a stroke? Damn, damn, damn.
2012, as it turns out. Apparently he’s been using a wheelchair since. I don’t think he’s done more than one or two things since that weren’t voice-only (he’s done a LOT of that, though.)
Y’know .. given the *tiny* budget ($1600 (in 1970-dollars) for costumes) Rocky Horror was made on .. it really has me wondering what could be done *today*, with CGI ..

I had read it was going to be broadcast live, like The Sound of Music last year, but I’m not seeing that in the articles now.
Not sure about it…but since I saw movie (many times) and later the London stage show in 1979…I will probably have to watch at least once or twice. Interestingly enough when I was in law school in the late 70s, a classmate told me that she and he husband were investors in the original movie. After it bombed originally (closed in a week in Chicago), they thought they had a tax loss…
Personally I just want to know when Shock Treatment is going to get its due.
