Yes, the film is rather goth-friendly, although the Hot Topic tie-in is both overdone and somewhat untrue, everyone knows Edward Scissorhands and late-90s music pushed their goth brand into the malls – before that, if you wanted goth, you had to *work* to find it.

So .. for me, anyway, enjoying a piece of art means accepting its’ flaws as well as its’ beauty.
