Captain America: The Winter Soldier is one of those flicks that definitely grew on me, although my major problem with it still stands: you just can’t drive a car through Dizzy City that quickly. You simply cannot. There’s almost a law against it.
And so, adieu to Dark Dungeons.

PS: I actually read the hostage ship bit to my youngest today as a bedtime story. This amuses me.
Being a road geek, I noticed the US 6 and US 322 signs during the DC car chase scene, which tells me that they actually shot that scene in downtown Cleveland, which is the only place those two roads overlap. They probably should have CGI’d those signs to read US 1 and US 50.
Films generally avoid DC proper, except maybe for b-roll because the city demands far too much money to film there.
