So, what exactly do you DO with a Google Cardboard?

Look at 3D photos?  Is that pretty much it? I’m admitting that I don’t much see the point of Google Cardboard, otherwise.  Although at least it’s cheap…

(Yes, I’m kind of hoping that there’s an immediate and obvious application for this that I’m just missing.)

  1. When I played with one, it’s a bare-bones Virtual Reality headset. We got to wander around the base of the Eiffel Tower, which was a lot of fun; I’m told that are tons of other places set up for it, including a great many Google Street View collections.
