You could take that story in a hundred different directions. I like the idea of seeing the nuts-and-bolts operation of a space station.
Maybe the Urinary Director and the Pest Control person could be thrust into the center of an intergalactic mystery, and during their investigation, they discover romance. Or large, poop-eating rats. Or both.
I hope this one sees the light of day. (I mean your story.)
