It is, in fact, everything that the cover promises and more; this is one of the few card games that we used to play at the house, back in the day. This isn’t actually at Warehouse 23 yet, but it will be soon. Seriously, pick SPANC up — and not just because Fade Manley’s a cool person, although she is. Pick it up because it’s a good game, with exquisite Phil Foglio cheesecake.

It’s pretty funny that you can scan down and get to about the top of the catgirl’s shoulder tat and go “Ah, illustrated by Phil Foglio”.
