Life imitates Jerry Bruckheimer / Nic Cage.

It’s always entertaining when Life does that.

Not much to say, here.  I can’t go “This would be perfect for a game” because it’s actually not: your players would go This is a blatant rip-off of National Treasure*; and they’d be absolutely correct.  It’s kind of unfair, really.  Still entertaining that Life is cribbing Bruckheimer for gags, but unfair.

*I’ve said this before, and now I’ll say it again: National Treasure is the best damned gaming movie that you’ll ever see. It is absolutely somebody’s campaign, right down to the point where you can see two of the PCs fail their History rolls and the third somehow gets a critical success on  his IQ check.  The third PC even genially mocks the other two for a moment!  It’s glorious.

…God, now I have to sit down and watch it again.

  1. Nic Cage has no shame and loves money. There should be a dozen more of these already made, so it’s obviously Bruckheimer who is the spoilsport.
