…Done*. I wrote a goram book.

  1. Shiny!

I envy you. I’ve had a story idea bouncing around in my head, along with a video game idea that’s marginally more likely to see the light of day, but I rarely find the time where I am able to work on it, I have the energy to work on it, and I don’t have higher priority Real Life (TM) activities that interfere with it.

I enjoyed the first-draft vignette you posted last week. My tastes in non-technical reading have drifted towards classic pulp stories, and I get that feel from the vignette. I really hope there’ll be opportunity to continue reading the story one of these days.

  2. 50,131! I did six thousand words today.

I am pumped. Congratulations, Mr. Lane! Raise a glass of something delicious and celebrate!
