  1. Well got to the store today. Got 2 hams at 60 some odd cents a pound and several Beef roasts some marked down to $3.00. Stuff for homemade soup, berries, Two gallons of milk (one chocalate for the grand kids and hot chocalate) and about 4 dozen eggs. Do stores mark down food when a bad storm’s coming in? Seems like it today, the place was packed. Of course I can barely walk air pressure will eff you up if you have bone scars, never had this before and it’s getting me worried.

  2. Muggle Soup.
    .
While the ingredients include soured wheat and toadstools, extensive testing indicates neither ergot (nor its’ active ingredient lysergic acid diethylamide) nor any of the polyphyletic mushroom family (nor their active ingredients, psilocybin, psilocin, and baeocystin) .. which means eating a bowl won’t cause you to fail a drug test. It’s also perfectly safe to eat. Sorta.

The taste is often described as mushroom gumbo, and the preparation is similar as well. (Okra optional)

So, what does Muggle Soup do? After enjoying a bowl, one becomes … aware. Angels, demons, aliens, magic (obviously) or even the illumnati, whatever your world-build calls for, your muggle (erm, player character) is now *aware* of it..
    .
They won’t actually be able to *do* magic, they aren’t members of skull and bones, they aren’t on speaking terms with any (additional) angels or demons .. but they are *aware* of suchlike .. and that’s where it’s not entirely safe .. because a little knowledge can be dangerous.
    .
