I’m actually kind of disappointed, believe it or not. Ben Affleck as Batman wasn’t bad; but Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne was completely on-point. And I think that it was Honest Trailers who pointed out that at least Affleck’s Batman was a freaking detective. He actually went and figured stuff out in Batman v Superman, which was nice to see even if you didn’t care for the rest of the film. ‘Course, by now it’s all messed up anyway. DC might as well switch gears on Batman, because they’re stuck with that mess of their shared universe of theirs anyway.
At least, until they can figure out how to toss it all out. See, this is why comic books regularly have giant, universe-wide resets: continuity problems. Fixing them by killing off all the characters and then resurrecting the ones you like may seem stupid, but they do it because it works.
Maybe he can be an Earth-2 Batman if they ever get around to the DC Multiverse? (Not holding my breath)
I haven’t seen any of the movies with Batfleck, but I did hear good things about Affleck’s work in the role. But the people in charge have managed to make a mess of things. So it is what it is.

That might not be a bad thing. I feel like Batman and Supes are pretty played out for a while. given the endless string of only them we’ve had for my lifetime at least.
I wish that Green Lantern hadn’t apparently been so horrible that they don’t talk about it now.
I enjoyed Green Lantern. But then much-younger-me also enjoyed Shaq’s 1997 DC bomb Steel. That thing is so buried I had to specifically search the year in IMDB.
Idris Elba should be the next Batman. Because if he can’t be Bond, he should be Batman.
