Hey, Cyberpunk 2077 did its update. No, I’m not linking to the site…

…that told me. You know why? Because if you’re going to assign a story on the Cyberpunk 2077 1.5 patch, you probably shouldn’t pick a writer who refused to play C2077 when it came out, and still won’t do it now. I mean, seriously, what the Hell? I don’t give a tinker’s damn how some random techsite wordgrinder feels about the game. Articles kvetching about How Game X Sucks is already a buyer’s market: if I’m gonna link to one, it’s gotta give me more value-added than I still hate how they released this game. That and three bucks…

…hold on, sorry, four bucks. Inflation, don’t you know…

…that and four bucks will get you a latte. Social media ain’t a charity, folks. You gotta deliver the deliverables.

PS: The update is 43 gigs, by the way. I really should go look at the changelog.

  1. I wanted to have a new machine built to play it (my current rig dates to 2012) then covid and the chip shortage made that impossible for reasonable prices. The upside being, by the time I can build a new machine, all these updates should have Cyberpunk in tip top shape and I’ll never have had to live with the issues that made it “infamous”

  2. They supposedly FINALLY fixed knife throwing. So my last planned variation build is a go. Just got done with Vic’s. Knife throwing stealth/shotgun/machinegun guy.

They also added muzzle breaks finally as well as some new scopes. Also Iconic weapon rewards when you complete the jobs in the major areas.
