To quote from the South Park banking clip “And… he’s gone!” Don’t poke the Elder Gods.
In this case it seems to be the Elder Gods doing the poking. And if the frequency described is accurate it would seem that the humans are made of fairly stern stuff or at least have something else going for them to survive all that. Such frequency would also put the circumstantial evidence on the side of the researcher.
Someday I’d like to read just how he would go about proving it. Right or wrong, I bet the logic is interesting. 🙂
