Put me on the list of Those Who Would Destroy.

I don’t play Magic: the Gathering anymore, mind you. It’s a great game, but I just don’t have either the time, or the money to get back into it.

For many long seconds I have pondered what I might do, should the One Ring MtG card come into my hands. Clearly I should be guided by the wisdom of previous generations. Accordingly, if the One Card was brought into my grasp, I would take it to Mount Kilauea*, and there cast it into the fires, to be utterly unmade.

What’s that? Oh, I figure I can pay for the whole thing with sponsorships, if I do it on social media. People have paid for people to do dumber things in public.

  1. So does making this card make WotC the new Dark Lord? Naming the new rulesets “OneDnD” was a bit on the nose, looking back…..

  2. Let me be the first to volunteer to join your fellowship, Moe. I will accompany you and guard you from the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune in your noble quest to bare this burden. Not for the fame, and not for the chance to take it for myself, but out of the true honor to pay homage to the classic I love.
