I just don’t think that NaNoWriMo is a suitable thing to do it under, anymore. It’s not really the AI thing, honestly: I don’t care for AI-prompt generated material, I won’t buy it, but otherwise it’s not my problem. It’s the fact that last year strong allegations were made that NaNoWriMo was being used for some hinky stuff involving minors, and I’m not really comfortable referencing that organization anymore. I’ve never officially signed up for it, I don’t think, but I’ve still referenced the ‘contest’ often.
So now I need a new name for it for November.
No idea on the name… interested in seeing how Banshee develops as a character.
Mew
Same. I have the general idea of her moral/ethical journey, but making it consistent and believable is the trick. She knows the basics, but properly implementing them is going to be the problem for her.
Much opportunity for her… and many many many tales as old as time for you to pick through for memes…
Does Cinderella have mink farming? Do they use actual mink? Could someone ferret in a shrew?
Mew
I dunno. They might go mink hunting, which would be much like boar hunting, only slightly more dangerous (the mink got pretty big after the apocalypse).
Call it Rapid Progression Month – RPM. It brings to mind the whir of machinery and swift progress down an open road.
That’s not half bad…
Fourth And Goal would be too sportsball even if it’s understood that the completed novel is the goal and the fourth quarter of the year is the time …
Mew
I will add that to the list of consideration.
