One thing that I sometimes ask myself is, “Am I making it clear that my Unfiltered setting is straight-up horror?” That’s why I write things like “Ask Me No Questions, I’ll Tell You No Truths.” There’s a lot of stuff going down in that world, and it’s almost always almost unnoticeable. Or just not talked about. Or barely acknowledged to exist. Everybody’s a lot happier that way.
