I’ve played the videogame, which was fun. I’m not sure how Call of Cthulhu-y Call of the Sea: The Everhart Expedition is, though. Nothing really… bad happened, you know? At least, onscreen.
Still, looks like a good time. I should finish the videogame, too. In my copious free time.
How far did you get?
On top of the cliff: I had a good idea what to do next, but I logged out and got distracted.
Solving that puzzle is a great moment.
It’s short game. If I recall correctly, you were about 1/3 through.
I encourage you to make another run at it.
It’s good.
More Dagon than Cthulhu.
But it works.
Most “bad stuff” continues to be offscreen in the videogame, but in a tabletop scenario, you’d be playing the original expedition, instead of the line investigator following them. So it would be front and center. (And would necessarily deviate where the investigator takes a shortcut of sorts. And miss her dream sequence entirely)
