…and this one goes beyond sadism, and is now hovering around the level of ‘war crime.’ To answer the question: I would not last one day. I would not last one hour. I would not do this at all.

    A minor inconvenience is a no brainer – do it for a year and never work again.

  2. I would be more worried about the long term health effects of being in a room with that many chickens for an extended period. The effect on your sinuses and lungs could suck.

  3. Long enough to pay off my car, not enough to pay off my house.

    I get on fine with chickens, and Orpingtons are likely the best breed to be trapped with, but it’s a bit much of a muchness.

      1. I also took it for granted that plastic sheeting and cleaning supplies would be freely available.
        Because without those, It would become very unhealthy very quickly.
